DMCA / Copyright

Sports Desk complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. We do not host or reproduce third-party articles. We index headlines and short excerpts that publishers distribute through their public news feeds, and every entry links to the original report. Copyright in all indexed material remains with its publisher.
How to submit a notice
Send the following to the address at this site's domain with the subject line "DMCA Notice":
- Name, address, telephone number, and email of the rights holder or an authorised agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work at issue
- The full URL of the indexed entry on this site, so we can locate it precisely
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder
- A physical or electronic signature
Publisher opt-out
Publishers who prefer not to be indexed do not need to file a formal notice. Send a request from a domain-associated address and we will remove the publisher from the index entirely, including all historical entries. We will not re-index unless you ask us to.
What happens next
On a compliant notice we remove the referenced entry, normally within one business day. Because we do not host the underlying article, no further action is needed on our side — the original remains published by its newsroom.
Counter-notice
If an entry was removed and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We will forward it to the original complainant.
Important
Submitting a knowingly false notice can carry legal consequences. Please confirm you hold the rights you claim before submitting.
